<h2>Motorisierung</h2>
<p>Angetrieben wird der Yamaha Xenter von einem wassergekühlten 125-Kubikzentimeter Einzylinder-Viertaktmotor mit 12,5 PS/9,2 kW. Das ab 7.250 Umdrehungen pro Minute anliegende Drehmoment von 11,9 Newtonmetern macht den Scooter agil und sorgt zudem für geringen Kraftstoffverbauch.</p>
<h2>Komfort</h2>
<p>Mit einem Gewicht von 142 Kilogramm und einer Sitzhöhe von 785 Millimetern ist der Xenter leicht im Handling, bietet ein geräumiges Trittbrett und liefert mit seiner Vollverkleidung Schutz gegen Wind. Für Federkomfort auch auf schlechten Straßen sorgen eine Telegabel vorn und die Monocross-Hinterradaufhängung mit Solo-Federbein hinten.</p>

<h2>Verfügbarkeit und Preis</h2>
<p>Der Yamaha Xenter fährt auf 16-Zoll-Rädern. Vorn arbeitet eine 267 Millimeter Scheibenbremse, am Hinterrad eine Trommelbremse. Außerdem verfügt der Scooter über ein LED-Rücklicht, ein LCD-Cockpit und einen integrierten Heck-Gepäckträger. Lieferbar ist der Xamaha Xenter neben »Matt Mocaccino Brown« in den Farben »Competition White« und »Midnight Black« ab August für 3.350 Euro.</p>

<h2>Meistverkaufte Modelle</h2>
<p>Unter den Modellen liegt die Reisenduro BMW R 1200 GS im Ranking mit 5.110 Maschinen und großem Abstand unangefochten an der Spitze. Mit 1.669 Einheiten folgt die Kawasaki ER-6n. Yamaha verkauft 1.453 Einheiten der MT-07 und weitere 1.399 Fahrzeuge der MT-09. Rang fünf geht wieder an Kawasaki und die Z 800, von der 1.184 Maschinen ausgeliefert wurden.</p>

<p>Ebenfalls am Freitag treiben die Gäste gegen 17 Uhr ihre eigenen Maschinen über den Circuit. Das Ganze mit professioneller Anleitung der beiden Yamaha-Stars. Nach getaner Arbeit wartet auf die Teilnehmer das Superbike-Catering. Gegen 21 Uhr ist der Tag zu Ende.</p>
<h2>Renntaxi mit Profibesetzung</h2>
<p>Im Eventpaket enthalten sind ebenso die Eintrittsgelder für Trainingsläufe und Rennen der IDM Superbike Meisterschaft sowie dem Yamaha-R6-Dunlop-Cup am Samstag und Sonntag. Zudem wartet eine zum Renntaxi umgebaute Doppelsitzer-R1 auf Mitfahrer. Gesteuert wird die Maschine von einem Fahrer des Yamaha-Rennteams.</p>

<h2>Zweitakter gehören zur Familie</h2>
<p>Zweitakt-Technologie hat bei Yamaha Tradition, war doch das erste Serienmotorrad der Marke ein Zweitakter. Zudem bevorzugen Motocross-Sportler das leichte Handling und die direkte Kraftentfaltung der Maschinen, die ihre Motorsport Eignung durch zahlreiche Siege und Podestplätze längst bewiesen haben.</p>
<h2>Yamaha YZ85LW</h2>
<p>Der neuen YZ85LW spendiert Yamaha eine frische Optik, neue vordere Kotflügel, seitliche Startnummerntafeln, eine Kühlerverkleidung und einen neuen Sitzbankbezug. Neu ist zudem das Dekor im »Speed Block« Design mit YZ-Logo.</p>
<p><strong>Überarbeitet wurde auch der 85 Kubikzentimeter Zweitakter.</strong> Durch Änderungen der Ein- und Auslassöffnungen im Zylinder konnte die Kraftentfaltung verbessert werden. Neben Leistungssteigerung sorgte die Arbeit am Zylinder für bessere Nutzbarkeit, von der besonders junge Fahrer profitieren sollen. Das neue Modell ist darüber hinaus mit einem einfach zu bedienenden Kupplungseinstellmechanismus ausgestattet, der eine individuelle Anpassung ermöglicht.</p>
<h2>Verfügbarkeit &amp; Preis</h2>
<p>Die Yamaha YZ85LW ist ab Dezember 2014 lieferbar. Preise gab der Hersteller bislang nicht bekannt.</p>
<h2>Yamaha YZ125 und Yamaha YZ250</h2>

<p>Mit neuen Kunststoffteilen, neuem Fahrwerk und breiteren Fußrasten startet die Y125 in den Modellzyklus 2015. Hinzu kommen Dunlop-Reifen mit neuem Profil, ein Kettenrad im YZ-F-Stil sowie der Bremsscheiben- und Bremssattelschutz am Hinterrad. Optional bietet der Hersteller von Yamaha Rinaldi R&amp;D gefertigte leistungssteigernde Bauteile für den wassergekühlten 125 Kubikzentimeter Zweitakter. Darunter sind unter anderem ein Auspuffrohr, Bauteile zur Vergaserabstimmung und eine aus Carbon-Verbundwerkstoff hergestellte Einlassmembran.</p>
<p><strong>Auch die YZ250 startet optisch und technisch</strong> überarbeitet in die neue Saison. Neue Kunststoffteile, ein Kupplungseinstellmechanismus am Lenker, breitere Fußrasten und Dunlop-Reifen sind Serie.</p>
<h2>Verfügbarkeit &amp; Preis</h2>
<p>Die Yamaha YZ125 und die Yamaha 250 rollen im September 2014 zu den Händlern. Die Preise stehen noch nicht fest.</p>
<h2>Yamaha YZ450F und YZ250F</h2>
<p>Mehr Leistung, besseres Handling und frische Optik liefert Yamaha für die YZ450F und die YZ250F. Zudem verfügt der Luftfilterdeckel nun über Schnellverschlüsse statt der bislang verbauten Schrauben. Neu sind schwarze Felgen und der »Factory Look« der Maschinen. Auch für die YZ450F und die YZ250F bietet YRRD (Yamaha Rinaldi R&amp;D) Racing Kits zur Leistungssteigerung. Hierzu gehören unter anderem die leichte Schmiedekolben-Einheit, ECU mit YRRD Mapping und einem um 500 Umdrehungen pro Minute angehobenem Drehzahl-Limit sowie ein Kurbelgehäusedeckel für höhere Festigkeit im Werkslook.</p>
<h2>Verfügbarkeit &amp; Preis</h2>
<p>Lieferbar sind die Yamaha YZ250F und die Yamaha YZ450F ab Juli 2014. Auch hier stehen die Preise noch nicht fest.</p>

<h2>Intermot &amp; Eicma</h2>
<p>Der Erfinder der Drag-Style-Rahmen, Markus Walz, nimmt sich der Yamaha XV950 an. Das Umbau-Projekt läuft unter »Performance Café-Racer«. Walz stellt die Maschine auf der Intermot in Köln vom 1. bis 5. Oktober 2014 vor. Auch der dänische Veredler Kedo kündigt schon jetzt Premieren an. Auf der Eicma in Mailand vom 6. bis 9. November 2014 werden zwei Umbauten der Yamaha SR400 zu sehen sein. Ein Schwerpunkt der Personalisierung liegt im Design, ein zweiter beim Antriebsstrang.</p>
<h2>Wheels and Waves Show</h2>
<p>Bereits kommenden Monat liefert die Wheels and Waves Show im französischen Biarritz Ideen und Anregungen für Yamaha-Built-Fans. Zu sehen sind unter anderem Custom-Bikes von Wrench Monkees und Deus Ex Machina. Zudem können sich Besucher am 13. Juni ab 18.30 Uhr in der Hondarribia Marina mit ihren Fragen direkt an die Customizer richten. Am Ende werden zwei Umbauten der SR400 vorgestellt. Eine kommt von Deus Ex Machina, die andere haben die Brüder Raphael und Christian Bender aus Deutschland modifiziert. Infos über die Show liefert Yamaha auf der Facebook-Seite.</p>

<h2>»Big-Bike-Optik«</h2>
<p>Mit der Yamaha MT-125 kommt eine Maschine im »Fighter Look« und echter »Big-Bike-Optik«, meint der Hersteller. Was oft nur Marketinggeschrei ist, bewahrheitet sich bei der kleinsten MT. So liefert die MT-125 einen durchweg erwachsenen Auftritt. Der erste Hersteller, der so ins Feld zog, war 2010 <a href="/category/motorrad/ktm#utm_source=feed&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=feed">KTM</a> mit der 125 Duke. Wie die Yamaha MT-125 sah auch sie aus wie die Großen, verfügte über Bauteile wie die Großen und fuhr sich wie die Großen. Da steht Yamaha in nichts nach. Die MT-125 baut auf dem Sportler YZR-R125 auf und verfügt über ein Fahrwerk mit Supersport-Komponenten. Auch optisch zeigt die Neue ganz klar, dass sie eine MT ist. Dabei wirkt der unverkleidete 125 Kubikzentimeter Einzylinder-Viertaktmotor beinahe ebenso martialisch, wie der 90-PS-Zweizylinder der großen Schwester: Auch sie scheint nur aus Sitz und Motor zu bestehen.</p>

<h2>Komfort</h2>
<p>Trotz sportlicher Ausrichtung soll die MT-125 Komfort bieten. Mit der aufrechten Sitzposition in 820 Millimetern Höhe und dem breiten Lenker ist Yamaha der Kompromiss gelungen. Fahrkomfort liefert vorn eine Upside-down Telegabel mit 41 Millimeter Standrohren und einem Federweg von 130 Millimetern. Das Hinterrad wird über eine Monocross-Hinterradaufhängung mit angelenktem Federbein geführt. Der Federweg hier beträgt 114 Millimeter. Einen optischen Kick liefern die Räder mit Speichen im Y-Design.</p>
<h2>Marktstart &amp; Preis</h2>
<p>Yamaha stellt die MT-125 im kommenden Juni der Presse vor. Zu den Händlern rollt die Maschine ab August 2014. Mit Anodized Red, Matt Grey und Race Blu sind drei Farben lieferbar. Preise gab Yamaha bislang nicht bekannt. Der Einstiegspreis dürfte jedoch bei ewta 4.000 Euro liegen.</p>

Mit den Yard Built Modellen will der Hersteller Ideen liefern, die eigene Maschine zu personalisieren. Zu diesem Zweck – und natürlich fürs Auge – hat der Hersteller italienische Designer und Konstrukteure beauftragt, sich der Yamaha XV950 ABS anzunehmen. Herausgekommen ist die Yard Built XV950 Pure Sports. Die Maschine orientiert sich am legendären Straßen-Racer FZ750 der 1980er Jahre.</strong></p>

<h2>Das Auge fährt mit</h2>
<p>Costumizing ist für Biker, was Tuning für Autofreaks. Dabei kommt es jedoch bei den Maschinen weniger darauf an, dem PS-Wahnsinn zu verfallen. Vielmehr ist es die Einzigartigkeit des eigenen Bikes, das Schrauber Stunde um Stunde mit ihrem Moped vereint. Genau hier setzt Yamaha mit dem Veredlungsprogramm Yard Built an, indem Anregungen und Tipps geliefert werden, was mit dem eigenen Bike so alles geht.</p>
<h2>Profi-Veredlung</h2>
<p>Dabei lässt sich Yamaha nicht lumpen. Denn die Maschinen der Yard Built Reihe werden von handverlesenen Profi-Costumizern veredelt. So hat der Hersteller für die Yamaha XV950 ABS italienische Designer und Konstrukteure beauftragt, einen solchen Ideenpool zu schaffen. Mit der Yard Built XV950 Pure Sports entstand damit aus einem Cruiser im Bobber-Style ein Unikat, das in bester Cafe Racer-Manier vorfährt.</p>

<h2>Yard Built XV950 Pure Sports</h2>
<p>Doch einfach nur drauflos schrauben war nicht Thema. So wurde mit Konzept und Entwicklung das italienischen Costumizing-Magazin »LowRide« beauftragt. Das Design stammt aus der Feder von Oberdan Bezzi, Koordinaton und Montage übernahm Radikal Chopper. Die Frontverkleidung mit Kanzel sowie Flanken- und Heckverkleidung fertigte Metal Bike. Alle Stahlrohre der Anbauteil wurden an vorhandenen Befestigungspunkten am Rahmen montiert. Kaos Design lieferte die Scratched-Metal-Effekt-Lackierung in Silber, die Doppelsitzbank aus Bond-Grain-Leder kommt von Laboratorio Della Pelle e del Cuoio, die 2-in1-Auspuffanlage des Zweizylinders hat die Ducati-Schmiede HP Corse entwickelt. Den Clip-on-Lenker hat Motocicli Veloci, LED-Blinker und Billet-Spiegel Rizoma gestaltet.</p>
<h2>Original-Charakter</h2>
<p>Vor dem Umbau stand eines fest: Die Maschine durfte am Ende den Charakter des Originals nicht verwässern. Zudem sollten die Anbauteile ebenso leicht abgebaut werden können, wie sie montiert würden. Somit wurde weder geschweißt noch geflext. Dennoch gelang es den Gewerken die Maschine komplett anders aussehen zu lassen. Und das, obwohl Chassis, Mechanik und Elektrik unverändert blieben.</p>
